Specifically, we are looking for works that address the following questions:
oÂ Â Â Why is water important? How do we relate to water?
oÂ Â Â What does safe water access mean in the 21st century?
oÂ Â Â How do we envision the future of water in our communities, in Canada and in the world?
The Conference, which is taking place onÂ 29-30 March 2012,Â will bring together leading international experts, policy-makers and students to generate cross-disciplinary discussion on the most pertinent water-related issues and potential solutions.
In addition to understanding the issue of water scarcity and politics from this perspective, we want to invite artists to contribute to the dialogue.
All submitted artwork must be original to the artist, not a reproduction of original artwork, created within three years of entry date.Â Artists will be profiled prominently at the exhibit.
