The Artist Project Toronto/Untapped Emerging Artists

Hey Everybody! The Artist Project Toronto is looking for emerging artists to submit for the chance to win a free space in the untapped section of the fair (March 1-4th).  Its a fantastic opportunity to have your work seen by collectors! The deadline is January 13th.

UNTAPPED Emerging Artists.

The Artist Project Toronto is dedicated to supporting the development of students, new graduates, and self-taught artists. The UNTAPPED Emerging Artists is a juried competition that awards emerging artists from all mediums an opportunity to exhibit at a professional-level art fair for free.

Winners Will:

• Receive a free space in the UNTAPPED section of the show


• Connect with over 12,000 visitors, art dealers & art buyers


• Network with artists from all across North America


• FREE EXPOSURE:  On The Artist Project website, show guide, press releases & all other marketing/advertising materials

Extra Perk:

Accepted applicants will be automatically entered in the UNTAPPED Emerging Artists People’s Choice Competition. Visitors to the show will have their chance to vote for their favourite UNTAPPED artist. The winner will receive a free booth at the 2013 show!

Who Can Apply?

• Current students and recent graduates of 3 years or less removed from post-secondary / graduate-level education)


• Self-taught artists who have been practicing / exhibiting their art for less than 3 years


• Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply.  A limited number of larger spaces are available for installation and/or video & new media projects


• Winning artists must be able to travel to Toronto and be personally present for the duration of the show (March 1-4, 2012)
