Xpace's Guide To Your Dream Halloweekend

Here at Xpace we know that with busy lives, some of us still being in school and everyone always having something to do, it can be a hassle trying to find something fun to do in your downtime. So instead of giving up on trying to find somewhere to go this weekend and just sleeping through your halloween blues, we've done the research for you. Here's a list of events that we think might be worth dropping by over your Halloween weekend!

THURSDAY

OTM Toronto Exhibit
at Lomography Store 531 Queen St West
Lomography and OTM zine teamed up to put on a photo exhibition dedicated to the city of Toronto. The show consists of OTM contributors and is all shot on Lomography Cameras. Should be a pretty awesome party with some really great work!

Halloween Goth Drag at Xpace Cultural Centre 58 Ossington Ave
Xpace is hosting our very own Goth Drag Halloween Party with DJ performances by Murderess Margot and Mistress Frustitution. Oh, and we should probably mention that it's FREE!!! Come in costume or even better, a goth drag version of your costume! Black lipstick for the boys and moustaches for the gals will be available. We will be screening some horror gems throughout the night and the best part is, IT'S FREE!

SATURDAY

at Dufferin Grove Park 875 Dufferin St
Starting at 4pm in Dufferin Grove park is the Night Of Dread Parade. The parade will return back to the park for a public intervention in the park. Presented by Clay and Paper Theatre, Night of Dread includes fire spinners, stilt dancers, scary masks and a night of adventure.

Goin' Steady Monster Mash at Lee's Palace 529 Bloor St

The fantastic video installation group will be taking over the space and making it the best looking halloween party in town! The party starts at 9 and costs $10. Tickets are only available at the door (so go early) to get a chance to have the halloween party of a lifetime featuring a wild video installation show!
